1- Shut off power to the pumps as shown here and be sure that both timer boxes are also switched off. |

2- Turn gauge counter-clockwise 1/4 turn to release pressure |

Get the 7/8" combination wrench from the poolhouse and slowly loosen the retaining ring. BE DOUBLY SURE YOU'RE RELEASED THE PRESSURE PREVIOUSLY!! |

21- Install the retaining ring. Hand tighten as far as you can to hold the ring in place. |

22- Using the 7/8" combination wrench, tighten until the the ends almost touch as shown. Be sure the ring is properly seated. |
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
23- Hit the 'ears' with your hands until the top turns 1/4 turn, then remove. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
24- Filter basket removed that needs to be cleaned. |
